[Press Release] Invested.in has partnered with BizWorld to make it easy for teachers to fundraise online

Hey Friends!

We’re happy to announce that we’ve partnered with BizWorld (a really cool non-profit that teaches kids entrepreneurship in a fun way) to build them an easy way for educators to fundraise online.  We’ll be launching their fundraising portal before summer ends, and we can’t wait to help teachers all over the country bring this fun curriculum into their classrooms.

Check out the whole press release below:

@alonymous chats with Jeremy from @plansmovie about their successful crowdfunding campaign!

Great news!  The “Plans” crew reached their goal!  All of their hard work paid off, and just in time.  They have started production of their indie feature, and Alon was lucky enough to crash their wardrobe tests and deliver them their check, in person!

While there, Alon had a chance to talk to Jeremy Hogan.  Check out this over-produced, great quality video that Alon took with his professional camera crew, while at their production office:

We are really excited to be a part of their amazing journey, and can’t wait to see how everything turns out.  GOOD LUCK!!

Crowdfunding “Plans” – An independent thriller by Jeremy Hogan

If you’ve been following projects on Invested.in, you’ve learned that the people who promote their projects the most, who listen to their fans, who keep people in the loop, are the ones who are the most successful. Jeremy is no exception to the rule. Ever since he published his project, he has promoted it via his blog, his facebook page, and his twitter account.

It has paid off. Pitch in and watch as Jeremy reaches his goal!

I can’t wait to get my “Special Thanks” credits!

Crowdfunding Advice For Filmmakers – Alon’s Interview On Blank Stage

Alon, one of our founders, was recently interviewed by Brent from Blank Stage Productions for their blog.  He asks Alon about the Invested.in basics and then they also go on to discuss social media and filmmaker-specific advice.

We may be a bit biased, but whether you are a filmmaker, or ANYONE thinking about crowdfunding, this interview is highly recommended.

Check it out.
